I enjoy cooking and I love to bake. I am a whiz at easy recipes, just look at all of them at the tab at the top of this page. There are a lot of cooking and baking topics I wish I knew more about but I don’t have time in my schedule to sign up for classes. I recently found an amazing alternative, Salted Online Cooking School. So far I have taken classes in how to fabricate poultry, how to properly fry an egg, how to make an old fashioned coffee cake and how to make cereal infused ice cream using the dry ice technique, and I’m just getting started!

About Salted Online Cooking School

Salted Online Cooking School is a new type of cooking school. Salted has partnered with 100 of the best chefs in the country to bring its members a world class cooking education, grounded in beautiful video, exclusive classes, and both culinary skills and recipes from the most celebrated restaurants in the country. All of the Salted video tutorials are shot in HD and are very pleasing to watch. In addition to the videos each tutorial includes step-by step written instructions which even include the time stamps for the videos so you can find that step and re-watch it if necessary. There is also a list of what you’ll need for each tutorial and additional Chef’s notes to give you extra tips.

The tutorials in Salted stand alone but they are also grouped together into courses like How to Cook Bootcamp, Introduction to Italian Cooking and Thanksgiving Classics.

If you want to spice up your cooking, give Salted Online Cooking School a try. You can start with a FREE 30 day trial membership, where you can view some of the courses. Once you fall in love with it the monthly membership is only $9.99! That is a lot cheaper than a new cookbook or a single cooking class. I hope you enjoy Salted as much as I am.

I always absorb information better if I can see it. This would be perfect for the novice home chef!

I like the idea of video tutorials. Sometimes when reading instructions it just doesn’t make sense unless you see it.

Now this is something I’m going to serious look further into. I would love to be able to get lessons while I’m on the treadmill/etc.
