Mushu, my almost 2 year old Shi Chi Poo is not a big treat eater. She was paper trained when we got her and in all honesty, we haven’t done a lot of training with her so she has not been trained with treats. We will occasionally give her a treat after a strenuous play session but they are not a regular part of her day. Mushu has a sensitive tummy and she has done much better since we changed her to a grain free diet last fall.

We have tried several types of dog treats over the year and a half we have owned her. She is very picky and prefers to bury, aka hide them under Jordan’s pillow, instead of ever eating most of them. When she was asked to review Fromm Dog Treats from Chewy.comI did my research and made sure they were grain free and then agreed to give them a try.

Mushu’s Thoughts

When the package arrived I opened it and gave Mushu a treat. She sniffed at it and licked it right away. Then she let it sit on the couch and she stared at it for a few minutes before gobbling it down. A few days later I gave her a treat and she moved it from place to place for a day and a half before eating it. The next day I found Mushu sitting on the floor in the kitchen staring at the bag of treats on the counter. I asked her if she wanted a treat and she did her “begging” pose, lying all flat on her tummy with her eyes looking up at you and her tail wagging, so gave her a treat and she took it to the couch and ate it right up.

Mushu seems to enjoy the Fromm Dog Treats from Chewy.com and I am sure we will be buying more in the future especially since the big 8oz bag is only $4.99.

Disclosure: We received a package of dog treats for the purpose of this review. All opinions are 100% mine or Mushu’s.

So happy to see Mushu enjoying a snack treat. Looks to me that FROMM DOG TREATS will stay on her food list.
