Have you heard of Pump It Up? I hadn’t before I was asked to review their new party goodie bags. I was excited to find out that there is a Pump It Up in Brandon, FL on 36 miles north of me. I’ve been talking to my children’s pastor about holding a fundraiser there and I’ve even let my senior pastor know that they do corporate team building events too.

So, now you are wondering what Pump It Up is…

A clear leader in the active children’s party industry, Pump It Up is the nation’s largest franchise of indoor inflatable playgrounds specializing in private parties for birthdays, and other programs like corporate events, school outings, field trips and other events. Trained staff provides guests with supervision, food and beverage set-up, and clean-up services. Pump It Up is headquartered in Tempe, AZ with more than 160 locations across the country.

Pump It Up offers Pop-In Playtimes, Special Events, Birthday Parties and more. Pump It Up just introduced new kid’s party goodie bags at all of their locations and the contents of these bags aren’t your typical candy and cheap toys. “Each year, more than six million children visit our stores for the ultimate party experience, and the goodie bag is just the icing on the cake of a fun-filled day of bouncing, jumping, and sliding on our giant, colorful inflatables,” said Lee Knowlton, CEO and President of Pump It Up. “But we’ve learned that moms are frustrated with the amount of candy and useless items kids bring home from birthday parties. Our new Goodie Bags not only promote physical activity among children, but they also eliminate the stress moms face when trying to find cool, non-candy party favors to include in their child’s celebration.”

I received one of the new Goodie Bags for this review and it is pretty cool-even my 15yo son had fun playing with the contents. The Goodie bag includes a roto launcher (a spiraled plastic wand that shoots circular discs), sidewalk chalk, thunder sticks, and either a disc launcher or inflatable ball, depending on the franchise location. Moms are welcome to add other items of their choice. We had fun trying to hit targets with the discs from the roto launcher and the thunder sticks now reside in the living room and are used while we watch Tampa Bay Rays games! The disc launcher is fun and…who doesn’t love sidewalk chalk? I feel they did a great job designing this bag because the toys that are included encourage active and creative play-which is something every child needs more of.

I have 3 Pump It Up Goodie Bags to give away to 3 lucky readers!
