A few years ago I gave up caffeinated sodas. I did NOT give up all caffeine but I severely decreased my intake. I am down from 6-8 caffeinated sodas a day to 1 six ounce cup of hot chocolate a day. Some days I do wish I drank something that could give me a boost in the afternoon, without all of the yucky stuff in soda. This is where ON Powered Beverages come in.

About ON Powered Beverages

Active, health-minded individuals have lacked a refreshing, low calorie, great tasting, beverage that also provides a natural sustainable boost. Enter ON Powered Refreshment.

ON’s key ingredient, Ornithine, is an amino acid that stimulates the breakdown of carbohydrates, proteins and fat-resulting in the release of stored energy and boosting endurance. Ornithine also reduces ammonia-which is harmful to the body and brain, causing fatigue, confusion, slower thinking speed and poorer memory. ON beverages increase stamina, boosts brainpower and enhance focus.

ON offers five naturally lightly sweetened, low calorie flavors:

  • Blueberry Lemonade
  • Tropical Citrus
  • Dragonfruit Tangerine
  • Peach Mango
  • Raspberry Limeade

ON is currently available in 20 states at retailers like Gelson’s, Fresh & Easy, Keil’s, Bristol Farms, Amazon and more. You can find the nearest retailer to you HERE.

Mom Maven’s Thoughts

If you are a regular reader, you know that last week my son and I worked Shareathon for The JoyFM. That means 4 14-15 hour work days in a row. When you are not used to working those kinds of hours, the afternoon crash can be killer. We figured this would be the perfect week to put ON to the test. I was a bit nervous because ON Powered Refreshment is sweetened with Stevia and natural cane sugar and I have had allergic problems with Stevia in the past. I am pleased to report I had no issues with the Stevia in ON. It could be because I wasn’t consuming it 2-3 times a day or because it isn’t the only sweetener. I don’t really know. I’m just glad I didn’t have a problem.

“With @ONbeverages I had more focus and stamina to get through my 14 hour work days.”

Both Aaron and I had more focus and better stamina after drinking ON, which says a lot since these were crazy long days! Aaron’s favorite flavor is the Blueberry Lemonade and mine is the Dragonfruit Tangerine. I would love to keep ON in the fridge for those occasions when I need that extra boost in the afternoon. Right now it isn’t available in my area but I can order ON Powered Refreshment from Amazon, and so can you-just click the link.

ON did not cause us to feel hyped up or jittery. We just had more focus and stamina than on other days with similar schedules. if you are looking for a healthier afternoon boost, give ON Powered Refreshment at try!

Though I replaced sodas with water years ago, I still love my coffee. This sounds like a great alternative.

I try not to drink caffeinated sodas either. I’ll have to try this out!
