This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of Enterprise Rent-A-Car. All opinions are 100% mine.

When the kids were younger, I often dreamed of taking them on a winter road trip. Since we live in Florida the whole concept of snow and ice was foreign to them. Unfortunately, my husband does not like the cold so he never agreed to taking a winter road trip to the north. Since I wouldn’t want to take my old mini-van with no heat to snow country I’d rent an SUV from Enterprise Rent-A-Car to get us to our destination safely and comfortably.

For us, a trip north would mean heading to Gatlinburg, TN for some fun in the snow at Ober Gatlinburg during the day and spending  cozy nights in front of the fire place in our cabin.

We have visited Gatlinburg in the fall and I’ve always wanted to visit in winter.photo gatnowcabin_zpsff98a92a.jpg

On our way north we would stop and spend the day at one of our favorite Atlanta area attractions, Stone Mountain.
