For many years I have heard my friends in my Disney groups rave about the Peanut Butter and Jelly Milkshake at the 50s Prime Time cafe at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. While I had eaten at that restaurant several times, I never tried the milkshake. Last year on my birthday we ate dinner at the 50s Prime Time Cafe and I finally ordered the milkshake as my birthday treat. WOW! I didn’t know what I was missing. It was delicious. Last fall I learned that you can even order one to-go at the Tune In Lounge. Some friends and I did that and took them to Fantasmic with us, it was a wonderful treat.

I've been enjoying a strawberry banana Plexus P96 protein shake regularly for over a year. Just recently I decided to add peanut butter to it and make it a Peanut Butter and Jelly Protein Shake.

I’ve been enjoying a strawberry banana Plexus P96 protein shake regularly for over a year. Just recently I decided to add peanut butter to it and make it a Peanut Butter and Jelly Protein Shake. It is almost as good as the milkshake and it’s healthier. Of course, adding the peanut butter adds about 190 calories to the protein shake so make sure you account for that.

I've been enjoying a strawberry banana Plexus P96 protein shake regularly for over a year. Just recently I decided to add peanut butter to it and make it a Peanut Butter and Jelly Protein Shake.

Course: Breakfast
Servings: 1
Author: cindy
Ingredients
  • 1 banana
  • 1/3 cup vanilla Greek yogurt
  • 6 oz vanilla almond milk
  • 1 pkg P96 Vanilla Protein Powder
  • 2 TBS smooth peanut butter
  • 9 frozen strawberries
Instructions
  1. Place all of the ingredients in your Ninja or blender in the order listed.

  2. Mix together for 1 minute or until creamy.

This is another super simple recipe. As I said before, I also enjoy this without the peanut butter, so you can try it both ways. I often have the peanut butter and jelly protein shake after a workout to give me the extra protein and calories. I hope you enjoy this recipe and all of the easy recipes I share here on The Mom Maven. I hope you share them on your social networks. I just ask that you not copy and share the entire recipe with photos. Please use the sharing buttons below and share the link to this post. Thanks!

I do this too! When my kids won’t must at eat dinner, I’ll make them one before bed also. I love that it is healthy even for children 🙂
