What is Passion?
The Passion Movement and the messages of founder Louis Giglio have marked the lives of millions of people around the globe, calling people everywhere to live for the glory of God. From its inception, the movement of Passion has birthed new anthems of worship, influencing countless churches and helping to define the current worship climate and establish artists Chris Tomlin, Crowder, Matt Redman, Christy Nockels, Kristian Stanfill and others. Louie Giglio is the pastor and founder of Passion City Church in Atlanta, GA.
The Passion 2016 Conference was held January 2-4, 2016 at three different locations 2 in Atlanta and 1 in Houston. There were 40,000 college students from over 1,500 universities represented at the 3-day event. The Passion Conference is an amazing way for college age students to kick-off the new year and focus on the things of God. The conference is chock full of worship and preaching from the best of the best. Each year, Passion releases a worship album with the new music from the conference. In years past it has been a live album, this year it is a studio album-which means we get it in our hands quicker. “Passion: Salvations’s Tide is Rising” is already available for download on iTunes and Amazon and the physical CD will be in stores on January 29th.
