For July’s review from Chewy.com, Mushu chose the Orbee-Tuff Orbee Ball in Glow/Orange. This ball is known for standing up to strong chewers and you can insert treats to make this ball even more fun for your dog. Orbee dog toy review

About the Orbee-Tuff Orbee Ball in Glow/Orange

Rated Top Product by numerous magazines and called the “world’s best dog ball” by industry experts – this doggie-durable, buoyant, bouncy and minty toy is irresistible to dogs. Put a treat inside for added enjoyment! It will become a playtime favorite. Non-toxic, recyclable and rinses clean. Made in the U.S.A.

The ball comes in 3 sizes so you can order the appropriate size for your dog. Beartrap with Orbee-Tuff-TheMomMaven.com

Mom Maven’s Thoughts

The ball is a hard rubber material. The glow-in-the-dark feature is awesome for nighttime play. As you can see from the pictures though, Mushu didn’t play with the ball so we borrowed the neighbor’s dog, Beartrap, to try the ball out. The ball has a strong rubber scent which Mushu didn’t like at all. She would chase it but when she got to the ball she would shake her head and walk away. We tried washing the ball to see of that would get rid of the scent, but it didn’t seem to help. Beartrap, on the other hand, wasn’t bothered by the scent at all. She played in the yard with it for quite a while. She enjoyed the way the bounce was unpredictable due to the raised map on the ball. She can also chew on it without tearing it apart. After our puppy play date we sent Beartrap home with the ball so she could enjoy it for a long time to come. This toy isn’t for every dog. if your dog is sensitive to smells, it might not be the best toy for them. If smell doesn’t bother your dog, this ball is a great tough toy for active play.
