This is week 3 on our tour of Hester and Chester’s Dino-rama in Dinoland, USA at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Park. So far we have covered the area’s quirky theming and a ride on Primeval Whirl. This week we are talking about snacking and shopping in Dino-rama.
Snacking
Dino-rama doesn’t have any restaurants in the area but it does have 2 themed food kiosks where you can purchase snacks and beverages. The first of these kiosks is the Dino Diner which is located to the left of the exit of Primeval Whirl. Here you can purchase Hot Dogs & Chips, Frozen Coke or Lemonade, Cinnamon Glazed Almonds or Pecans, Bud Light, a Frozen Bacardi Raspberry Rum Lemonade as well as Assorted Chips and Sodas. I LOVE how the Dino Diner looks like a dino-themed travel trailer that just pulled in and set up shop. The other snack kiosk is Corn-Ivores which sells Popcorn, Soda, Water, Smart Water and Bud Light. This kiosk is basically in the middle of Dino-rama.
Shopping
If you are looking for Disney trading pins, lanyards or face painting there are kiosks for those in Dino-rama as well.
My favorite place to shop is Chester and Hester’s Dinosaur Treasures. This quirky dino-themed store has a combination of both Disney souvenirs and dinosaur souvenirs. The building the store is in is also where you will find the rest rooms for the Dino-rama area.
