Well, here we are again, another Mamavation Monday post. I can’t believe it is May! This is such a crazy month for me we have a piano recital, musical theatre production, finals, 2 graduations, a graduation party, Mother’s Day, 5 birthdays, and the start of summer semester! Phew, I’m tired just thinking about it. It is going to take a lot of work and focus to keep hitting my Mamavation goals with everything else going on.
This week I did well with my eating and my water; drinking a minimum of 2 liters a day. Today is day 15 of no soda!! I only exercised twice 🙁 plus spent Saturday walking Busch Gardens in the 90 degree heat. I really wish I had some Earth Footwear Exer-Walk shoes so that every step I took would be burning more calories than in my current sneakers.
I lost 1 pound this week, for a total of 5 pounds so far, which I am ok with. I’d like to lose another 5 pounds before my birthday at the end of the month. I am going to accomplish this by continuing to drink my water, eating healthy, listening to everything Pete Cohen is teaching me and exercising at least 3 days this week.

Pace yourself this month. Keep drinking that water and staying grounded. You have a lot of activities going on. Congrats on the pound… you can do five!

NO SODA!! WOoT! So you didn’t make all your workouts but you DIDN’T DRINK SODA! Be proud of your accomplishments. Strive for small changes each week, you don’t have to tackle 100% all at the same time. You’re doing great!
