As much as I thought it would never happen, I’ve become a crazy dog mom. We have had Mushu for 2 1/2 years now and she has truly transformed our lives. I often Instagram her antics, especially when she is being extra cute! We even celebrate the holidays with Mushu. This Christmas she even wore a pretty party dress to both of our family celebrations.
It's Puppy Love

This year, Valentine’s Day has gone to the dogs…literally! Let’s celebrate our wonderful animal companions by making February 13th Valentine’s Day For Dogs (#valentinesfordogs). On this special day, make sure you’re also giving your pups the attention they deserve. How?

  • Take them out for a special walk at their favorite dog park
  • Buy them a fluffy and comfy pet bed
  • Give them Milk-Bone dog treats.

To make sharing this holiday even easier you can visit BigHeartPetValentines.com, for FREE printable doggy Valentine’s Day cards. I love this idea! Mushu has several doggy friends in the neighborhood so we are going to download and print the Valentines, insert a Milk-Bone dog treat and share the love. I have a post coming up soon about other things we are doing to celebrate Valentine’s Day with our dog but I want you to know we are not alone.

I have to agree with the findings of that survey, how about you? Do you find dog lovers more attractive? Will you be celebrating #ValentinesForDogs Day? If so, please Instagram/Facebook/Tweet the picture sing the hashtag so that we can all share in the love. I can’t wait to see your posts!

Doggies certainly do bring a lot of joy into our lives. You pup is so cute all dressed up. My daughter loves doing that to our cat and dog too!

Mushu looks SO much like the new addition to our family! We picked up Morgana LeFur (we already had a dog named Murlin, I couldn’t resist) at a rescue a couple months ago, and she’s been such a joy in our lives. I’m all over that Valentine’s Day for Dogs idea. 😉

I don’t have any doggies, so I’m not sure of a lot of these things, but the stats are really fun. So is your Mushu in that holiday dress!

Your dog is adorable. I’m not a dog person, but I have family and ‘fur-nieces’ and ‘fur-nephews’ and I will share this with them.

Those are some fun facts. I LOOOOVE my dog. He is a big ‘ol sweetie of a German Shepherd but acts all vicious when someone comes to the door because he’s trying to protect me. (He doesn’t do it when my hubby is home!)
