Back in October I told you about the new LEGO Universe Massive Multiplayer Online Game. My son had so much fun playing that game that I am including it in my Holiday Gift Guide with a giveaway. The game is appropriate for gamers ages 10+ and this giveaway includes the game and a 1 month subscription. Once the free month is up you can choose which subscription fits your family’s needs. There are 1, 6 and 12 month subscriptions available for purchase on the LEGO Universe web site.

Here something cool I learned:
Encourage your kids to give their in-game characters, pets etc. catchy nicknames instead of using real names.
I learned that the Mythrans are these really neat safety characters in the game that promote protecting and doing good deeds for others. It teaches moderation and safety.
I learned that the site is monitored constantly and filters out profantity. Very important to me!
What I found interesting (and happy for it) is the safety concerns that have been addressed. Glad to see that not only are there parental controls on the game but love that there is an in game storyline that promotes safety and fairness.
