Winter is here and whether you live in Florida like I do or somewhere in the more frigid part of our country, now is the time to change your home air filter. During the cold winter months we spend more time inside trying to stay warm. Not only is our family home more we have more guests as we go through the holiday season. Every person who enters our home brings with them dirt, germs and allergens <eww>. One thing we can do to maintain a healthy home is to use an air filter that captures those microscopic particles and helps them from spreading.

Healthy Home Tips

  • Take shoes off when entering the home to reduce dirt and germs being tracked into the home
  • Disinfect door handles including cabinets and appliances
  • Clean all of the throw blankets that you cuddle up in regularly
  • Use an allergen reduction air filter
  • Have a working smoke detector and carbon monoxide detector in your home

We just got a carbon monoxide detector, and it really does give me a peace of mind I didn’t have before. #AddieandGeorge
