I received one or more of the products or services mentioned for free in the hope that I would mention it on my blog. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.
We are meat eaters. I have tried to add “Meatless Mondays” to my family and they were quickly shot down. Beef is our meat of choice but I work hard to only serve red meat 1-2 times a week. Recently I was asked to review some meat from the George Foreman Butcher Shop. I didn’t know such a place existed but, I use my George Foreman Grill all the time so why not try his meat. I received a cooler full of individually packaged frozen meat, it was a beautiful thing.

What I received was George Foreman’s Ultimate Variety Pack. It sells for $99.95 and includes:

  • 2 x 12oz USDA Choice Ribeye Steaks
  • 1 x 24oz Peppercorn Crusted BBQ Tri Tip
  • 4 Roasted Pineapple Teriyaki Chicken Breasts
  • 6 George’s Signature Bacon Cheddar Patties
  • 4 Chicken Apple Sausages
  • 5 Bacon Wrapped All Beef Hot Dogs
  • 1 lb. BBQ Smoked Pulled Pork
  • 1 lb. Mac ‘N Cheese

George Foreman's Signature Bacon Cheddar Patty

We brought the six George’s Signature Bacon Cheddar Patties to my parent’s house to grill on Sunday afternoon. OMG! This may have been the best burger I have ever eaten in a home. It was moist and juicy but not too greasy. The flavor was amazing with the cheddar cheese and bacon mixed into the beef. Even though it was cooked on a gas grill, it tasted like it was cooked over charcoal. It was delicious and I want more of them!

George Foreman Butcher Shop Ribeye Steaks

Again George Foreman Butcher Shop knocked it out of the park with these steaks. Hubby grilled them up Monday night and they were so good. We don’t usually buy ribeyes but these were so flavorful I would get them again, and again and again.

On Tuesday night we had the Roasted Pineapple Teriyaki Chicken Breasts. My husband loved these. I thought they were ok but while I could taste the pineapple, it was lacking in teriyaki for my taste. The cooking instructions are right on the package and the chicken breasts cooked up in no time.

We still have several more things to try, I’m really looking forward to the hot dogs and pulled pork!

Right now the Ultimate Variety Pack is all that is available. Soon, other items will be available and I am hoping I can buy packages of those burgers because they are calling my name. Make sure you stay up with George Foreman Butcher Shop on Twitter, Facebook and Instagram for more information. Which item from the Ultimate Variety Pack would you like to try first?
