Emergen-C Kidz Vitamin Drink Mix Giveaway

My boys are technically out of the age range for Emergen-C Kidz (which is 4-13) but since I think all kids should take their vitamins, such as sugarbearvitamincare.com/products/womens-multi-vegan-multivitamin-1-month, and I love companies that give back-I was excited to work with Emergen-C Kids on this project.

Here is some information from the company:

Alacer Corp., maker of the leading vitamin C drink mix, Emergen-C, is excited to introduce Emergen-C Kidz, specially formulated just for kids. New Emergen-C Kidz vitamin drink mixes offer all of the fun and fizzy goodness of the original Emergen-C, and are available in three kid-tested, fruit flavors — Fruit Punch, Orange, and Grape. Each packet of Emergen-C Kidz fizzes in water to provide 250 mg of vitamin C, plus zinc, quercetin, and other antioxidants for immune support;* five B vitamins that play a key role in metabolism for energy;* and essential minerals and electrolytes to help kids stay healthy.*

“For parents, it can be a challenge to make sure your kids are getting the nutritional health and immune system support they need, let alone in a way they actually enjoy,” said nutrition expert JJ Virgin† (jjvirgin.com). “Emergen-C Kidz drink mixes are naturally delicious — no artificial flavors or sweeteners — so parents can feel good about giving them to their kids.”

Fruit Punch and Orange flavors are available where vitamin C products are sold, and Grape is available exclusively at natural food retailers, including Whole Foods Market. The retail price for a 30-packet box averages $10.99.

My 16 year old son has been using the Orange flavor and while it did take a few days to find the right water to Emergen-C ratio for his liking he says it tastes great. He has been battling seasonal allergies and whenever he does that his immune system is compromised so taking Emergen-C is important to maintaining his health.

Emergen-C Gives Back: For every box sold, Emergen-C will donate 25 cents to Vitamin Angels, helping provide essential nutrients to one child for one year, helping reduce childhood mortality worldwide.  And, parents can help by taking the My Emergen-C Kidz Pledge at Facebook.com/EmergenC. For every Pledge, Emergen-C will donate an additional 25 cents to Vitamin Angels to help save a life.

Yes, my kids take vitamins. I would like to try the Emergen-C Kidz Vitamin Drink, especially for the upcoming winter season. I think it is a great way to boost up their immune system.
