So far I have used this vegetable peeler on potatoes and apples and it has performed well on both. Personally, I have never used a julienne peeler before, nor have I had a recipe call for julienne sliced vegetables. I do see how slicing things like carrots and radishes this way would be handy for salads or even for hiding vegetables in other recipes to make them healthier.
