I grew up eating Dole peach cups with my lunch at school. When my kids were younger they ate Dole Fruit bowls too. Honestly, we haven’t bought them in a long time. When I was asked by She Speaks to review the Dole Fruit Bowls I agreed. My kids have been willing to try every new food product that I have been asked to review so, why not fruit.
To my amazement, when the box arrived my 16yo grabbed the Mandarin Orange Fruit Bowls and said, “I love these, we eat them at Pow-wow every year!” and he proceeded to eat one while I unpacked the rest of the box. Why he never asked me to buy them is a mystery but, I will buy them now. My younger, pickier eater has tried the Tropical Fruit Bowl and I am enjoying the Peach Bowl.
Dole Fruit Bowls are one of the ways my family is eating healthier. They are low in fat and sodium and high in Vitamin C. Dole Fruit Bowls do not require refrigeration so they are another great way to add a sweet, healthy snack to your child’s lunchbox.
Dole is sponsoring the Bowl-A-Day Challenge which encourages you to challenge your friends to get their fruit by eating one Dole Fruit Bowl a day. You could win $1000 for yourself and $1000 for a school or charity! You can also get Dole coupons by registering for the challenge. So, I challenge you to take the Bowl-a-Day Challenge!
