I LOVE to go to the movies BUT with the outrageous ticket prices I am lucky if I go 2 times a year. While I have learned to be patient and wait for movies to be available on Netflix or RedBox, nothing compares to the experience of seeing a movie in the theater. Only in the theater can you laugh, or cry, or cheer with complete strangers as you experience a movie together. Add to that communal experience the smell and taste of movie theater popcorn and you have a great night out.

dealflicks Now, with Dealflicks you can save up to 60% on movie tickets and concessions at participating theaters. When I searched Dealflicks I found a great deal of 40% off an adult ticket and a medium popcorn. Instead of paying $12.00, the price was only $7.20! Dealflicks is known as “Priceline for Movie Tickets” because of the great deals it offers.

Unfortunately for me, none of our local theaters currently partner with Dealflicks 🙁 but on the website there are petitions you can sign asking your local movie theaters to join the Dealflicks family.

Why would a theater want to sell tickets at a discounted rate? Approximately 88% of theater seats are empty during any given showing. A savvy business owner would be happier making some money on those seats and even accepting a discount on the very jacked up concession prices just to get patrons in the door.

Are you ready to sign up for Dealflicks? Click the link and sign up, signing up is FREE. When you make your first purchase through that link, use code READERSCHOICE to get $5.00 off your first purchase! What a bargain!!

Have you ever used Dealflicks? Would you like to try it? Leave me a comment and let’s discuss this service.

I used to work at the local movie theater during high school. This sounds like a great money saving option for seeing movies.

Lindsay, I worked at a movie theater too, when I was teaching pre-school.

This seems like a great program. Movie tickets are so expensive, it is nice to find a place to get them at a more reasonable rate.
