Cindy this is terribly awful. David’s Bridal came off very disappointing here. I can’t imagine just how long they’ve been doing such misleading ad! It was more like intentional on their part. Leaving you with zero option “there’s nothing that can be done” is just ridiculous. Even the updates can’t make up for what have happened. Thank you for sharing your own experience regarding this. I’m definitely not considering them at our wedding.

I feel so fortunate to have an aunt who is a professional seamstress, she made my wedding dress and it was exactly what I wanted. I had gone ‘dress shopping’ at a wedding dress store to see what was out there, but they didn’t have anything close to what I was looking for. I’m so sorry for your awful experience, and I’m so glad they are going to finally fix their mistake. The way you and your daughter were treated was inexcusable!

I was wedding dress shopping 7 years ago. Without an appointment, David’s Bridal wanted nothing to do with me. I stopped in during the week, at lunch hour, on a day I had an appointment (my appointment was later that evening.) I had my MOH with me and we wanted to just see what they had to offer. David’s Bridal was extremely rude to me. Needless to say, I canceled my appointment.

That is just awful! This is one of many reasons I did a justice of the peace wedding and had a barbecue. The stress involved in planning a wedding was just not something I wanted to deal with.
