Old Valance

I’ve been wanting to update my living room window treatments for a long time but I didn’t think I could afford it. When Curtainworks.com asked me to review their products I was excited, and impressed by their selection of colors and styles as well as their prices.

Curtainworks’ user-friendly website allows you to search by style, and then refine your search by color, material, function, length and price. The prices start at $19.99 and go up. After spending a considerable amount of time on the website searching for the right curtains for my living room I chose the Sailcloth Cotton Canvas Wide Grommet Panel in Cinnabar.

New Curtains

I am amazed at what a difference new curtains make in a room! I love the color and texture of the curtains and they really warm up this very bland room, what do you think? Would you like some new curtains? Curtainworks.com would like to give one lucky reader of The Mom Maven their own new curtains!

Mandatory 1st Entry: Visit Curtainworks.com and look around. Come back here and tell me which curtains you would choose AND what room you would use them in.

Bonus Entries: Leave a separate comment for each entry

  • Like Curtainworks on Facebook and leave a comment on the Facebook wall about this giveaway.
  • Follow @MomMaven and @Curtainworks on Twitter and tweet this I’d love to win new curtains for the holidays from @Curtainworks and @MomMaven http://bit.ly/beBpmm #win (you may do this 2x a day)
  • Followers, GFC friends, Networked Blogs followers and Facebook Likers get one entry each.

The winner will be chosen by Random.org. US entries only. This giveaway ends at 10:00pm ET 11/14/10.  This giveaway is now closed.

Disclosure: I received 2 sets of curtains for the purpose of this review. All opinions are 100% mine.

I’d choose the Helena Jacquard Thermal Room Darkening drapery in Champagne 63″ length for a window that is 80″ wide in the Den which gets a bit cool and has no drapes or curtains on it at all. The Den sometimes has to double as the guest room, so it would be nice to have the morning sun blocked a bit so guests can sleep in if they wished.
