Yesterday I shared with you about how Blu-rays are the most economical choice for building your entertainment library. Today I’d like to share a brief note from Andy Parsons of The Blu-ray Disc Association about durability. “These are things that are very durable, they will hold up under a lot of very stressful circumstances, and I think any of us who have kids at home understand exactly what I mean by that. And Blu-ray was designed to be very durable, with an anti-scratch coating on there so that you could prevent it from being damaged from rough handling. These are designed to be not only something that is good for everyday use, but it’s designed to be there 10 years from now, when you want to watch that movie again, and you want to be able to see it at its very, very best.”
