My friend Kelli at 3BoysandaDog.com holds Blogger Appreciation Day at the beginning of each month and I really like her idea so starting this month, I am joining her. This is a way I can celebrate….YOU! (especially those of you who link to me from your blogs).

Here’s how it works:
Go into your tracking service (I use Google Analytics) and set the time period for June 1st – June 30th.
Find the sites that have referred readers to you and put them in order from most sends to lowest. (I only do blogs and small businesses, not big sites!)
Write a post (like this one) listing your top 10 referrers.
Grab the Blogger Appreciation Day picture and add it to your site or post. (It is also nice to link back to my site, since I am giving you a link )
Link that post up in Kelli’s LinkyTools. (Scroll down and you will see a list of links, simply add your direct post link to it).

I received traffic from 140 sources in June….here are my top 10 referrers:

1. topsocialgiveaways.blogspot.com   sent 44 visitors

2. sweepsadvantage.com sent 30 visitors

3. 3BoysandaDog.com sent 10 visitors

4. 5MinutesforMom.com sent 6 visitors

5. ReedyCreekRadio.com sent 4 visitors

6. AubutFamily.com sent 4 visitors

7. CrystalandComp.com sent 2 visitors

8. ThisLilPiglet.net sent 2 visitors

9. BetterinBulk.net sent 1 visitor

10. BrainFoggles.net sent 1 visitor

I know some of these numbers seem small but I appreciate everyone of them. FYI excluding the search engines-which is where the majority of my traffic comes from, the other biggies are Twitter with 239 visitors, Facebook 81.

Write your own Blogger Appreciation Day post and link it to both Kelli’s linky and here in the comments of this post!
