This is a Sponsored Post written by me on behalf of St Augustine, Ponte Vedra & The Beaches, Florida. All opinions are 100% mine.

I admit it…I have lived in Florida for 30 years and I have never been to St. Augustine. Especially since we are homeschoolers, even I find this hard to believe. We have talked about it several times over the years but it has never happened. After all,  it is the oldest continuously occupied European established city, and the oldest port, in the continental United States.

St. Augustine, Ponte Vedra & The Beaches have a lot to offer all vacationers, not just those of who like to combine travel and school. This area is known for its beautiful beaches, top-notch golf courses as well as all of the historical venues. I’d love to take a trip and spend a few nights at the quaint Carriage Way Bed & Breakfast. Then I could spend time exploring the fort, museums and Marineland…after soaking up some rays on the beach of course!

There is so much to do! I am having fun planning my dream vacation at RomanceLivesHere.com. Maybe hubby and I should visit St Augustine for my birthday. The Carriage Way offers great packages that include a horse & buggy ride around the historic district or they will pack the perfect picnic lunch that we could take to Castillo de San Marcos, the beach or perhaps, the old lighthouse. Hmmm, I’m liking this idea.

Have you ever visited St Augustine? Where did you stay? What was the favorite thing you did there? Leave me a comment and let me know.

Hmmmm, can this be like a retreat house? I would love to pay a visit and stay like uuhhmm, like where I can reflect and ponder my life and my state of being.
