My oldest son was 9 when Lilo & Stitch was in movie theaters. Stitch immediately became his favorite Disney character and remained in the top spot for several years. I think Stitch was his favorite because he is cute, cuddly and mischievous-all traits Aaron could relate to! Stitch has caused his share of trouble over the years, like when he toilet papered Cinderella’s Castle to celebrate the opening of Stitch’s Great Escape at the Magic Kingdom back in 2004. Stitch’s playful demeanor is often evident when you meet up with him in the Disney Parks.

I ran into Stitch wandering the halls of The Magic of Disney Animation building a few weeks ago. Character meeting places change often but you can usually find Stitch at Animal Kingdom as you head towards Camp Minnie-Mickey, and at the ‘Ohana Character Breakfast. Sometimes he pops up in Tomoorowland in the Magic Kingdom and in front of the Sorcerer’s Hat at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. You can also join Stich at the Club 626 Dance Party Rockettower Plaza Stage, Monday, Wednesday, Friday & Saturday intermittently 5:00pm to 10:00pm. Check your Times Guide for more information.
