No visit to Downtown Disney is complete without a stop in the Ghirardelli Chocolates store. In case you have never stopped in, you have to because they give out free samples 🙂 The store is set up with two sides. One side is the chocolate store and the other is the ice cream store. We only visit the ice cream store occasionally, to celebrate big events. Last year we celebrated Jordan getting his learner’s permit!
Have you had the delicious ice cream concoctions at Ghirardelli’s at Downtown Disney? What is your favorite? Mine is the Domingo without the almonds-vanilla ice cream surrounded by bananas, topped with hot fudge, whipped cream, chopped almonds and a cherry. In the picture Jordan has a Nob Hill Chill milkshake-Two scoops of vanilla ice cream blended with their world famous hot fudge and topped with semi-sweet chocolate chips!
