I have been wanting some speakers for my iPod Touch so that when I am at the pool I don’t have to have my earbuds in all the time. The new line of Disney iHome Portable Weather-Resistant Speakers are just what I was looking for.

The adorable speakers come in Kermit the Frog, Perry the Platypus, Minnie Mouse and Jack Skellington. It is a tough, lightweight, water resistant case with premium speakers or a great sound. The hard wired line-in cable plays audio from any source with a headphone jack and the clear rear window allows access to the controls on any touchscreen iPod, mp3 or cellphone.

Here is a video my son made that gives you a tour of the iHome unit.

The portable speakers are available online for $39.95. I have enjoyed my speakers, they sound great and fit easily into my pool tote. They would make a great end of the school year gift for tweens and teens who love to listen to music wherever they go.

Disclosure: I received the Kermit the Frog iHome Speakers for the purpose of this review. All opinions are 100% mine.
