Comforts Brand Baby Formula, a Kroger brand, is sponsoring a contest to name their adorable firefly mascot. The winning entrant will win a $10,000 college scholarship!

We all know breastfeeding is best but not everyone is able to breastfeed. My oldest was a formula baby because my work situation at the time my breastfeeding all but impossible. My youngest son was breastfed for 6 months and then he decided he wanted a sippy cup like his big brother.

There has been a lot of bad press about Chinese baby formula and I want you to know that Comforts Baby Formula is manufactured to exacting FDA standards in the only ISO 9001:2000-certified, infant formula-manufacturing facility in the United States.

Comforts Baby Formula is fortified with iron and contains all the vitamins, minerals, and nutrients required for a healthy baby’s first year. It also contains the lipids DHA and ARA, which are associated with infant mental and visual development. As well as being fortified with choline, a nutrient found naturally in mother’s milk that is associated with infant development.

The Comforts for Baby contest is open to all US residents ages 18+ with a child under the age of 2 at the time of entry. Entries are being accepted from 6/1/09-7/31/09.

I’m not eligible to enter because my kids are too old but I would name him Flutter (ok so it isn’t that creative and my love of Mario games is showing) Flutter the Firefly would be my entry. Go to Comforts for Baby and enter and then just for fun, come back here and leave me a comment telling me what name you chose.
