So, here in west central Florida, we have spent the last several days watching Tropical Storm Eta. We have had 5 windy days and 2 rainy days so far as the storm passed across south Florida. It looks like she has shifted west and will be heading north instead of making the previously thought turn into Tampa Bay. That is good news for us but bad news for the Florida/Alabama coast that has weathered many storms this hurricane season. Either way, we are in for at least a few more days of wind and rain since most of the bad weather is actually east of the center of circulation in this storm.
I don’t mind the rainy weather, I just hope things clear up for Friday in Central Florida. I’m heading to the Magic Kingdom for the day to check out the holiday happenings and spend time with friends from Texas who are visiting for the week. I don’t mind a rainy day at Disney but I’d prefer not to be soaking wet like we were on our Epcot day in September.
