Ron, Jordan, and I have all tried the truMedic InstaShiatsu+ Pillow Massager With Heat. Jordan tried it laying down on a bed and he felt the massager was too rough and made his head bounce around a lot. Ron also tried it laying down. He felt it gave him a good massage but he found himself tensing up instead of relaxing because his head was bouncing around so much. I tried it in a sitting/reclining position and I felt it was a very rough massage, again my head bounced all over and it was not relaxing. Also, the heat function never got warm for any of us. The massage points turn red when you click it into heat mode but there was no heat emanating from the massager.
If you carry your stress in your neck and shoulders this might be the perfect massager for you. Unfortunately, it wasn’t a favorite of ours. We preferred our old recliner.
