Last week my dog, Mushu turned 4 years old. We got Mushu from our neighbors across the street when she was 3 1/2 months old. She was from a litter of 3 puppies. I had fallen in love with the runt but she didn’t make it 🙁 When the puppy I had my heart set on died, my husband thought I would give up on the idea of getting a puppy. I did for little while especially after Yoda and Moo had gone to new homes. Then, Moo came back. The other, larger dog in the home didn’t take nicely to this little intruder, so our neighbors took her back. She started to grow on me as we played together in the yard. A few weeks later, our neighbor said they were going to have to take her to the humane society if they didn’t find a home for her that week. I decided I wanted her, but was planning to be out of town for a week on business. I asked if they would keep her one more week and then, when I returned home from my trip, I’d come get her.
My husband thought I was nuts, but Moo, renamed Mushu, joined our family July 1, 2012. Nothing has been the same since. Mushu has really become my husband’s dog. She loves him so much. She is a great, easy going dog and, especially when Jordan was traveling for 2 1/2 years, she has been great company to us.
This year for her birthday we have her some Solid Gold Tiny Tots Lamb Jerky Dog Treats, and she loved them! They are small, chewy jerky treats in her favorite flavor! Mushu usually only gets treats once a day, after she comes in from going potty right before bedtime, but she got extras on her birthday. She gobbles up Solid Gold Tiny Tots Lamb Jerky Dog Treats.
