In the last year or so, escape rooms have become all the rage. Who doesn’t want to be locked in a room with several other people and solve puzzles and find clues to get out of the room?!? I was invited to one in Orlando but I didn’t want to drive 2 hours for a 1 hour experience. I am excited to announce that Escape Countdown now has 2 locations in the Tampa Bay area! One in Sarasota in the Gulf Gate area and one in Tampa on W. Kennedy Blvd.
About Escape Countdown
Escape Countdown is a brand new attraction located in Tampa and Sarasota! Escape Countdown is a fully immersive entertainment game where teams of two or more work together to discover clues, solve puzzles and use critical thinking skills to escape “the room” within 60 minutes. The “experiences,” as the rooms are called, are themed and range from a prisoner breaking out of jail to an explorer trying to find his way back home after meeting the Mad Hatter. New themes will be added to the attraction in the first few months after the opening and themes will change regularly to keep the attraction new.
The people at Escape Countdown have given me 8 tickets, 4 for my family to enjoy and 4 to use as a giveaway. My family is excited to check out the Mad Hatter theme and we will be experiencing Escape Countdown as we celebrate Aaron’s 23rd birthday in the beginning of March. Of course, once we have had our chance to visit the Sarasota location, I’ll come back here and give you a full report, without giving away and clues, of course!
