I received one or more of the products or services mentioned for free in the hope that I would mention it on my blog. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.
Popcorn is one of my addictions. It has been a favorite food for most of my life. I remember as a child my Uncle Clammy cooking up big batches on the stove for all of us kids to enjoy. Back then popcorn was an occasional treat that was labor intensive. Now we have the opportunity to make it in minutes in a microwave or buy it ready to eat from the grocery store shelves!

Just like popcorn making has evolved so have popcorn flavors. It used to be the only options were butter and salt. Not any more! Gourmet flavored popcorns are all the rage and the new, limited edition Fall-Flavored Popcorns from G. H. Cretor are a delicious addition to your fall festivities.

About Fall-Flavored Popcorn

“We are thrilled to introduce, for the very first time, unique holiday items that our fans can enjoy at home, share with friends, or give as a holiday gift,” says President Claire Cretors. “We are proud of the quality and quantity of ingredients we’ve combined with our already popular caramel corn. For example, we’ve added large slices and chunks of apples and whole nuts and seeds. We surely don’t skimp, and we know our fans will appreciate it!”

Each of the new flavors incorporates G.H. Cretors’ classically-delicious caramel popped corn, which is made the old- fashioned way: by hand, in copper kettles. Cane sugar, brown rice syrup (a non-GMO alternative to corn syrup with a lower glycemic impact) and creamy butter are heated over a flame to develop a rich, complex flavor. Freshly popped popcorn is then hand-mixed with the caramel to ensure each kernel is perfectly coated with buttery caramel. Like all G.H. Cretors popped corn varieties, the Limited Edition flavors are made with all-natural ingredients completely free of GMOs, artificial colors, flavors, and preservatives and are gluten-free and kosher.

Double Chocolate Caramel Corn

  • Orchard Apple Caramel Corn -sweet and tart, combining caramel corn with large slices and chunks of real Granny Smith and Fuji apples.
  • Double Chocolate Caramel Corn is decadent and indulgent, made with white and dark chocolate, whole almonds, and whole cashews.
  • Pumpkin Spice Caramel Corn is made with real pumpkin, whole pumpkin seeds, large walnut pieces, and an autumn-inspired spice blend of cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger, and cloves.

My favorite is the Double Chocolate Caramel Corn. The sweet and salty deliciousness is a perfect evening snack. I don’t usually like almonds but these are just fine. My husband’s favorite is the Orchard Apple Caramel Corn. He has been snacking on it for several nights. He loves the large chunks of apple. Neither of us are Pumpkin Spice fans <gasp> so we are sending that bag home with our son Aaron, the pumpkin pie master of the family, when he visits this afternoon. I’m sure he and his wife will enjoy that fall treat.

The Limited Edition flavors will be available in 8-ounce bags for  $5.99 and will be available in natural food and mainstream grocery stores in September. The Limited Edition Tin will include an 8-ounce bag of Orchard Apple Caramel Corn, an 8-ounce bag of Pumpkin Spice Caramel Corn, and a 5-ounce bag of Chicago Mix. It will also be available in natural food and mainstream grocery stores in September for $19.99. For more information, please visit www.ghcretors.com. I need to pop over to Publix to pick up some more for all of our fall festivities!
