Summer is here! Ok, well, actually the official start of summer this year is June 21st at 12:38pm but we all know, summer is already here. Locally school has been out for a few weeks and we have had temperatures in the 90s for weeks. I am more of a pool person than a beach person but I have visited the beach once already and the pool a few more times. For us, summer fun often takes place at my parent’s pool. We always lather on the sunscreen and have a great time. Mom and I were in the pool on Sunday and some times we have 11+ family and friends together enjoying the fun and sun. This weekend we will spend Father’s Day at Aaron & Summer’s house, their first time hosting a family gathering! We are bringing corn hole so I know the party will move to their large backyard as the games begin. My kids have very fair skin and I also worry about skin cancer so I am always slathering Banana Boat Sport on them in the summer when they’re outside. I love that it protects their skin from the damages of the sun but also works when they get into the water. That’s a great giveaway!

I’m glad to see the sunscreen being used, and glad that they finally are telling people how much to use. Dont’ forget to apply to the face and ears, and the top of the head if you have thin hair up there.
