Flu season is going to be a little easier this year with the help of a new “feel better” drink based on the historic B.R.A.T. Diet®, a physician recommended menu of bananas, rice, applesauce and toast. Using the same principals, the new B.R.A.T. TM Feel Better Drink is a delicious blend of brown rice milk, banana and apple purees, and a dose of vitamins and minerals to calm pained and dehydrated stomachs. This new B.R.A.T. TM flu fighters is all-natural, certified organic and lactose, gluten, casein, soy and corn-free with no added sugar or preservatives. The drink comes in a variety of tasty kid-friendly flavors like vanilla, chocolate honey and cinnamon toast.

“Keeping a carton of B.R.A.T. Organic Feel Better drink in the house can be a life safer this flu season,” said board certified pediatrician, Dr. Susan Hoffman, M.D. “When your child is ill it’s important that they stay hydrated, replace electrolytes and keep the stomach settled or this year’s winter flu may turn into something much worse.” Children love the taste of B.R.A.T. TM Feel Better drinks, which makes it that much easier to soothe them when they’re sick. It’s also helpful for children and adults with food allergies and intolerances.

Organic B.R.A.T. Feel Better Drinks are available in 32 oz. packages at grocery and national food stores, including Whole Foods, Babies R Us, Safeway, Shaw’s, Wegmans and more, as well as online through www.amazon.com. This is a really cool product. We use the B.R.A.T diet when our kids are sick, but sometimes it’s really hard to get them to eat anything. Who really wants to choke down a bunch of food when his tummy feels gross. Making it into a vitamin-enriched drink is a fab idea! I’m gonna have to get some for my little men!
