Happy Mother’s Day…a day late, to all my Mamavation Sistas! Wow week 5 wasn’t too good for me. Let’s start with the successes; I drank all my water every day, I ate slowly every meal and I made healthy food choices 95% of the time!! I only exercised 2 days and I didn’t visit Pete Cohen’s site all week. Speaking of visitors…I did have one, Aunt Flo has been miserable this week!
So, unfortunately for me that means I am up a pound.
Looking a head this is a crazy week…it is production week, my Homeschool Musical Theatre class puts on its production on Thursday evening which means I will be busy building sets, collecting props and running rehearsals…as well as doing everything else I always do! I’m trying to plan some meals that I can take with me when rehearsing and building sets so that I don’t succumb to the McDonald’s runs as I have in the past.
I was just reading about AquaHydrate and wondering if their high-performance sports water would give me more energy to get through the next few crazy weeks. I am a pretty picky water drinker so I don’t know if I would even like it but I am willing to try it!
This week’s goals are: to survive production week, drink my water (today is day 22 with no soda-yes, I am bragging!), make healthy food choices and exercise at least twice this week (hey, I’m being realistic here!). I am looking forward to tonight’s Mamavation TV show and hearing what Dr Renna has to say about nutrition.

Brag away about the no-soda train! That is a huge accomplishment. Good luck getting through this week. Try to plan meals and snacks as much as you can. It is these busy weeks where we really show what we are made of.

Whoah, 22 days without soda! That’s freaking fantastic sweetie. Especially when aunt flo is visiting, you continue to avoid that temptation. I like your planning idea to avoid mcdonald’s, I hope it works out for you. 🙂

Keep it up, Cindy! Don’t stress the small gain… it is probably water weight. I experienced the same thing a few week ago. AWESOME job with your soda intake! I hope you have a great week 🙂

You just have to pick yourself up and dust yourself off. I tend to do that ALOT, but I keep going and it pays off.
We’re here if you need us! I am only a tweet away!

Even on tough weeks we can be proud of our accomplishments. Just think if it like this…I”m going to do all this stuff AND get two workouts in…I’m gonna rock it. Get a pedometer. That will help you figure out how active you need to be during the day. If you get to 10,000, you won’t need the workout.
