I did it! I survived week 1 and I did pretty well. I did great on my water averaging 1.5-2 litres of water a day and countless trips to the restroom. I am thoroughly enjoying the lessons with Pete Cohen, I have learned a lot and can’t wait to move forward! I only worked out 3 days this week, my goal was 5 but life got in the way. I did a Gaiam indoor walking DVD 1 day and the WiiFit Plus 2 days each for 30 minutes.
I am also down 1 pound this week!! Yay me! Today I bought a reusable water bottle so that I can buy my water in the bigger jugs instead of the individual bottles. I’m not sure how that is going to work for me but I’m giving it a try.

Tonight is the “Lean and Mean Protein” Twitter party on from 7:30-8:30 p.m. EDT. Where Bob Greene will be teaching us about AllWhites and Better’n Eggs. I haven’t tried these yet but the recipes look great! I want to try the Morning Sunshine Protein Smoothie for breakfast someday soon.

This week I am going to continue following Pete Cohen’s teachings about food, continue drinking my water, exercise for 30 minutes at least 4 days week and keep encouraging the other #Mamavation ladies (hopefully soon Leah will invite me to join the Sistahood).

What have you done this week to live a healthier life? Do you have any great recipes? Please link them up in the comments. I am searching for things my picky family will enjoy.

Congratulations on a great first week! I have been exercising myself – going to the gym each weekday at 5 a.m. for 4 weeks now.

And your toes look really pretty on that scale! I could never publish a pic of my gnarly feet. 🙂

WTG Cindy! You are doing awesome. I think it is so brave that you are posting your scale pictures. That would certainly make me feel accountable throughout the week, so maybe I should consider it too down the road. Hope you love the All Whites when you try them… they are awesome.
