Whether you call it puppy chow or muddy buddies, they are even more delicious when you add Andes Mint baking bits to them! I made this Andes Mint Puppy Chow for the afternoon session of our Young Living Retreat. Most of us went out to lunch together and then in the afternoon we learned about the amazing products in the Young Living skin care line!
We nibbled on the Andes Mint Muddy Buddies while we learned how essential oils are so nourishing to our skin and why we should be using essential oil infused skin care products daily. Our skin is our largest organ and we should nourish it with safe products and by drinking lots of water.
I learned so much that weekend and I am so thankful for Donna and Carlene traveling all the way from Michigan to teach us and love on us. It was a weekend I will never forget. Good food, good friends, family, and great essential oils-who can ask for more?
The holidays are right around the corner and this Andes Mint Puppy Chow is an easy to make snack that both adults and kids love. The mint flavor makes it more festive and Christmasy too. You could add some Christmas sprinkles too add to this festive treat.

Pour the confectioner's sugar into the bowl. Secure the lid on the bowl. Shake until all the cereal is coated with sugar.
Remove the lid, add the sprinkles (optional), and fold them in with a wooden spoon.
Enjoy! Store in the sealed bowl at room temperature for up to 2 weeks.

I added the Andes Mint Baking Chips in the list above because my best friend tried to make my Ugly Christmas Cookies last year and she couldn’t find them anywhere near her in West Virginia. If you can’t find them locally, Amazon has them at the link above. I use them in other recipes like my St Patrick’s Day Grasshopper Cake, and my Chocolate Peppermint Cake Mix Cookies too. They are a staple in my baking pantry and while I have never had trouble finding them locally, others have.
