Lately we’ve run into the problem that our Walmart Neighborhood Market doesn’t carry the small loaves of garlic bread that we like. I don’t need a huge loaf for the 2 of us so Ron has been buying the garlic Texas toast, but I am not a huge fan of it. Recently I had tried  garlic knots while I was out to eat with my mom and Jordan so I thought I’d try to whip up some easy garlic knots on my own. They were a huge hit! I served them with my Creamy Italian Chicken one night when Aaron was home and he loved them. I brought a few over to Jordan’s house, since he is my garlic guy, and he wanted the recipe right away. I hope your family loved these as much as mine does.

I hope your family likes these easy garlic knots as much as mine does. #recipe

This easy garlic knots recipe has more flavor then garlic bread but is just as easy to make.

Course: Side Dish
Cuisine: Italian
Servings: 8
Author: cindy
Ingredients
  • 1/4 cup butter melted
  • 2 TBS grated Parmesan
  • 3/4 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 16 oz tube refrigerated buttermilk biscuits
Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 400°. Spray a baking sheet with non-stick spray.

  2. in a small bowl mix together the butter, Parmesan, garlic, and Italian seasoning. Set aside.

  3. Cut the biscuits in half. I used my Pampered Chef kitchen shears to quickly complete this step.

  4. Roll each half biscuit into a rope about 1/2" thick.

  5. Tie the rope into a knot and place on prepared baking sheet.

  6. Brush each knot with the butter mixture, reserving 1/2 of the mixture for later.

  7. Bake 8-10 minutes until golden brown.

  8. Remove from oven and brush with remaining butter mixture. Serve immediately.

I hope your family likes these easy garlic knots as much as mine does. #recipe

This is a great recipe for the kids to help with. They can mix up the butter sauce, roll the dough into ropes and even tie the knots! I hope you enjoy this recipe and all of the easy recipes I share here on The Mom Maven. I hope you share them on your social networks. I just ask that you not copy and share the entire recipe with photos. Please use the sharing buttons below and share the link to this post. Thanks!
