In all honesty, I didn’t need another Bible. I have 3 Bibles, in 3 different translations that I use regularly, plus my Bible app that goes with me everywhere. When I was offered the She Reads Truth Bible to review from FrontGate Media and B&H Publishing, I said “yes” because I have done Bible studies with She Reads Truth in the past and I have enjoyed and learned from each of them. Of course, as in any review on this blog, all opinions are 100% my own.

The She Reads Truth Bible invites every woman to count themselves among the She Reads Truth community of "Women in the Word of God every day."

The She Reads Truth Bible is written in the CSB translation. I was not familiar with this translation before receiving this Bible. CSB stands for Christian Standard Bible.

The Christian Standard Bible captures the Bible’s original meaning without compromising clarity. An optimal blend of accuracy and readability, this translation helps readers make a deeper connection with God’s Word and inspires lifelong discipleship. The CSB is for everyone—for readers young and old, new and seasoned. It’s a Bible pastors can preach from and a Bible you can share with your neighbor hearing God’s Word for the very first time.

Since using this Bible, I have found this translation to be easy to read and understand and a welcomed addition to my Bible collection.

Features of the She Reads Truth Bible

  • Almost 200 devotionals
  • 66 artist-designed key verses
  • 35 full-color timelines
  • 20 full-color maps
  • 11 full-color charts
  • Reading plans for every book of the Bible
  • A one-year Bible reading plan
  • Detailed book introductions
  • Key verse list,
  • Carefully curated topical index
  • Smyth-sewn binding
  • Two colored ribbon markers
  • Wide margins for journaling and note-taking
  • Available in 5 colors

I am planning on using the She Reads Truth Bible as my main study Bible for 2018. My goal is to work my way through the book-by-book reading plans in between my other Bible studies.  You can purchase your own copy of this Bible on the She Reads Truth website.

The She REads Truth Bible invites every woman to count themselves among the She Reads Truth community of "Women in the Word of God every day."
