The first time I tried Mongolian Beef was at the 2012 Disney Social Media Moms Party that was held at the Art of Animation Resort before the resort opened to the public. I was quickly addicted. I can’t remember how many times I got into the buffet line to get more beef but I’m thinking it was 5 or 6! I was hooked. Since that time I have eaten Mongolian Beef at a few other places but none of them compare to the deliciousness of the Mongolian Beef at that party! While searching Pinterest for easy recipes I found this pin for Easy Crockpot Mongolian Beef and it instantly was re-pinned to my “Recipes I want to Try“ board.

  • 1 lb stew meat
  • 2 tsp olive oil
  • 1 TBS minced garlic
  • 1/2 c soy sauce
  • 1/2 c water
  • 1/2 c brown sugar
  • 1/2 tsp minced ginger
  • 1/2 c hoisin sauce
Instructions
  1. Place the meat in the crockpot.
  2. Add all of the other ingredients to the crockpot.
  3. Using a large spoon, stir well.
  4. Cook on low for 6-8 hours.
  5. Serve over Asian noodles.
Recipe Notes

This makes a great freezer recipe. Put all of the ingredients in a bag, seal, mix it well and freeze flat. Defrost in the fridge the night before then dump it in the crockpot in the morning.

Easy recipes-easy crockpot Mongolian beef over Asian noodles
We all enjoyed this meal and Aaron loved it and said it was one of his favorites. This was also my first time cooking Asian noodles and once the water is boiling the noodles cooked up in about 3 minutes! Recipes don’t get much easier than this so please pin it to your recipe board so you don’t lose it.

I hope you enjoy this recipe and all of the easy recipes I share here on The Mom Maven. I hope you share them on your social networks. I just ask that you not copy and share the entire recipe with photos. Please use the sharing buttons below and share the link to this post. Thanks!

I don’t think I have ever had Mongolian Beef. I pinned this for future use. I think I will have to substitute the soy sauce for coconut aminos since I have issues with soy, hope it turns out as yummy as it looks!
