Last Friday night we attended  the opening night of Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party at the Magic Kingdom. Beginning at 7 p.m. (after regular park hours), guests with special event tickets to Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party can enjoy all the holiday splendor with lively stage shows, spectacular fireworks, a unique holiday parade and favorite holiday traditions including complimentary cookies and hot cocoa, and snow flurries on Main Street, U.S.A. Guests can enjoy new experiences and attractions at New Fantasyland.
Castle Dream Lights
Our first Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party was 19 years ago, so we are long-time fans of this holiday event. When we attend we focus on doing the things that are unique to the party more than riding the rides so our focus was on dancing at Club Tinsel with Chip and Dale, seeing “Celebrate the Magic” with the holiday tag, watching “Christmas Wishes” and the Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmas Parade as well as the castle Dream Lights, the snow on Main Street and new this year, taking a ride on the Jingle Cruise.

Celebrate the Magic

This is a hard ticket special event after regular park hours; purchasing tickets in advance is highly recommended. The party takes place 19 nights in November and December: Nov. 8, 11, 14, 15, 17, 21, 22 Dec. 1, 3, 5, 6, 8, 10, 12, 13, 15, 17, 19, 20. Tickets range from $62-$71 for this event depending on the night you choose to attend.

Christmas WishesHave you ever attended Mickey’s very Merry Christmas Party? Are you attending this year? Leave me a comment and let’s talk about the party.
