We are huge Tampa Bay Rays fans so I am excited to share with you this upcoming event-Rays Renew Your Vows! On Saturday, June 15th registered couples can renew their wedding vows on the field after the Rays vs Royals game! I think this is a romantic way to kick off Father’s Day weekend; take the family to the game and then the kids can witness dad and mom renewing their wedding vows.

Renew Your Vows with the RaysThe ceremony will be performed by a Rays talent personality (Hmm I wonder who it will be?) and participating couples will receive commemorative Rays champagne flutes as they exit the field after the ceremony.

The fee is $30 per couple to participate in the vow renewal. You must preregister on the Rays Group Outings site registration is open through June 13, at 11:59 p.m. ET. You must also have a ticket to the game, which starts at 4:10pm. You can purchase your game tickets from Ticketmaster, tickets range from $15-$140 each.

This marriage vow renewal is not a legal ceremony. It is only a symbolic ceremony. All participants must be 18 years or older and already have obtained a legal marriage license.

What are your thoughts? Would you renew your vows at a baseball game? Why or why not? Leave me a comment and let me know.

Disclosure: I am being compensated for this post. All opinions are 100% mine.
