100_0622On Tuesday I had the pleasure of being part of the media covering Air Force day at the Magic Kingdom. The day was filled with Air Force personnel participating in a lot of Disney activities such as the Move It! Shake It! Celebrate It! Street Party, The Flag Retreat and the Celebrate a Dream Come True Parade. The highlight for park guests was seeing the Thunderbirds fly over Cinderella Castle and down Main Street at the beginning of the parade. You can watch my video recap of the day in this week’s MomTV Florida Mom’s vlog.

After the parade we had the opportunity to meet with some of the servicemen who were the parade Grand Marshals and it was refreshing to hear the say that being in a Disney parade was a real exciting moment for them.

Part of the fun for the day was being able to spend some time with some of my bloggy friends Suzannah, Amanda, Shellie, Leigh and of course Laura from Disney. While chatting on Twitter we had discovered that Shellie had never had Disney’s delectable treat…the Dole Whip. We decided that once our media duties were complete we would head to Aloha Isles and introduce her to the refreshment she had missed for years. Leigh created a video of our exploits and I want to share it with you. Do you love Dole Whip? Pineapple or Orange-which is your favorite? Have you NEVER tried a Dole Whip? Why not? Leave me a comment and let’s chat about Dole Whip.
