Here we are at the dawn of another new week. I am hoping slow and steady wins the race because this week…I have maintained. I am still at last week’s weight…and that is ok. I worked out 1 time…and was on the verge of heat exhaustion. It is too darn hot and humid here in Florida to do anything outside that doesn’t involve a pool, and I don’t have one of those. I will get in at least 2 workouts this week.

My eating has been good, I’m getting in 2-4 fruits a day, which is amazing for me! Water isn’t a problem at all, as long as I start drinking it by 10am I can easily get in 100+ ounces a day. Last week one of my favorite meals was when hubby surprised me with Subway for dinner while I was a t a meeting!

My other goals for this week are to comment on at least 10 of my Sista’s Mamavation posts and to make it home in time to be a part of Mamavation TV tonight…I’ve missed 3 weeks in a row cause I haven’t been home in time…hopefully tonight.

I spent part of this weekend pondering if I should apply to be a Mamavation Mom again this round since this is application week…but I decided the timing isn’t right for me, maybe next campaign, there just isn’t enough time in my day to fully commit to the program right now with my summer job and some large projects looming. I can’t wait to see who applies this time. If you want to know more about applying for the Mamavation Campaign click here.

Have a blessed week!

Cindy you are doing great! Your water intake is good! I know you can reach your exercise goals! Its so hot outside but maybe getting out early for a walk is a option? How about some at home workout dvd’s?

I hope to see you tonight at Mamavation TV!

I think that is very smart of you to know your limits and where you want to place your time commitments. It shows great self-care tendencies. Congrats on maintaining. I lived in Miami a couple of years ago before moving to Colorado, I understand about it being too hot to workout… even in the early dawn it can be hot/humid. I also think your goal of showing comment love is pretty sweet. You’d be surprised how your words can help someone else.

Taking it one step at a time is I think key to weightloss. I love your goals they seem very resonable. Good luck this week and keep pushing through.

Cindy do you have the wii? There are so many great programs for it that could help get your exercising up. Great job on your water! That is huge right there

I’ve been lucky enough to live in places w/o too much humidity, but I understand. In summer, I have no desire to exercise because of the heat. If you have a/c, you should be able to pop in a vid or do something indoors in the early morning to make it a little easier on yourself. Great job on the water!!!

Yep, we’re hot and humid in SC too. I am VERY thankful for my mom-in-law’s neighborhood pool.

You’re doing great, Cindy! Keep it up!

I have to stick with indoors with AC this time of year myself. Good luck this week trying to get those workouts in!

You are doing great… keep up the great work with drinking your water! I agree with the other girls on their comments… is it possible to get out a little earlier in the morning (before the heat sets in) to get a walk in? or… a workout video? 🙂

Consistent baby steps, but I still want to see you eating more veggies & watching your calorie intake. The veggies keep you satisfied while don’t fill your belly with empty carbs & preservatives. I’m very proud of you with the fruits. Great job there! You are well on your way. Just remember it does take time. Took me 4 years. XXOO

I know how it is trying to work out outside in the summer…we have crazy high humidity here and it’s been in the 90s all week. I’ve begrudgingly come to the conclusion that I have to wake up early to run, or risk cooking myself.

You’re doing awesome! I hit a point where I just stayed at the same weight for 3 weeks. But I maintained and then picked right back up again! Slow and steady!
