Peppermint Bark Popcorn

This sweet and salty holiday treat is perfect at a party or as a gift!

Ingredients

  • 2 quarts popped popcorn-no butter
  • 12 oz white chocolate chips
  • 1 1/2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 1/2 tsp peppermint extract
  • 8 candy canes-crushed

Instructions

  1. Place the popcorn in a large bowl, set aside.
  2. In a double boiler, melt the white chocolate chips.
  3. Add the peppermint extract to the melted chips and stir.
  4. Pour the white chocolate mixture and half of the crushed candy canes over the popcorn and mix well.
  5. Spread the popcorn out on a table or counter covered with parchment paper to cool.
  6. In a double boiler, melt the semi-sweet chocolate chips.
  7. Drizzle the warm chocolate over the popcorn.
  8. Sprinkle the rest of the candy canes onto the popcorn.
  9. Let the popcorn sit for about an hour to cool and harden.
