Last week I received a box in the mail with a recipe card, a can of Ocean Spray Cranberry Sauce and a jar of Heinz Chili Sauce. The only ingredient missing to make the recipe was a 2lb bag of appetizer size meatballs so I picked some up at the grocery store and took everything to my mom’s house over the Thanksgiving weekend.
We decided to have a lunch of snacks and appetizers on Saturday afternoon while we watched the college football games. Before we left for the mall that morning, I popped the 3 ingredients in my slow cooker on high, stirred well and then placed the cover on the cooker. When we arrived home 4 hours later, I stirred the meatballs again and they were ready to serve.
The meatballs were a huge hit. Some of the words my family members used were delicious, tangy, yummy and good. With 10 of us eating I only snagged 1 meatball and it was very yummy.
