Wow! I take it this was a local WalMart? That’s scary!
Wow, Walmart is very lucky no one was hurt. Did you hear how the fires started. Also I would either email the Walmart Corporation a copy of your Blog post or type them a letter.. Because if they don’t know its broke they can’t fix it… and this definitely sounds like this store was”broke”.
Thanks for the warnings.
Maureen’s last blog post..Giveaway!!! 18"x24" Poster Print
Lisa, yes it was the Walmart on SR 70 in Bradenton, Florida. It was somewhat scary.
Maureen,
I have sent Walmart a copy of this post via their customer service link on walmart.com
Yes I’m sure that this Wal-mart probably didn’t react the “best” way, however,I know for a fact that they do have evacuation policies, but when an incident like this has never happened before, it can be hard to get the plan into action. We can criticize Wal-mart all we want, but there have been many situations where policies are put into place for the “just in case”, but when the “case” actually arrives, all planning goes out the door. There is always something that throws the “plan” off.
