    I'm not sure his situation or which school he is going to but the summer before he goes to college he should take 2 or even 3 online courses if available. It helped me out so much so that I didnt have to sit through those pretty much redundant from high school 101 and 201 courses. Plus online allows you to work as fast or slow as you like so I felt like I got more accomplished in a shorter period of time. Good luck!
